Getting There

By Bus - from Perth City - catch the free Yellow CAT, disembark at Nile Street bus stop and walk down the hill towards the river. If you need the public toilets before the tour disembark at Royal Street  Victoria Gardens. After your visit to the public toilets follow the walk/bike path down the hill towards the river until you get to Nile Street. The river will be on your left.


By Walking - From Burswood Casino if you don’t mind a walk it is a pleasant 3 kilometre walk or catch a bus into Perth City and disembark just after the Causeway and follow the river path upstream to Nelson Avenue. The River will be on your right.


By Car - there is 3 hour fee parking available in Nelson Avenue.


Extras

We have a few spare wind shell jackets and gloves and a selection of dry bags which you are welcome to use. The kayaks have water proof hatches.


On this 9t minute tour you will0 see another side of the city. Seen from the water, Claisebrook Cove,   Heirisson Island and Burswood Park take on a different face.


Learn about the social and natural history of this part of the city. Paddle through the affluent urban areas and keep an eye out for dolphins; they often hunt for fish here.


Learn some basic paddling techniques in our very stable and comfortable touring kayaks
